After 14 and a half years in the role, Cefn Druids FC are sad to announce that Tom Kenmuir has stepped down as Club Shop Manager.
“Tom’s reasoning for stepping down is highly understandable and I can’t thank him enough for all he’s done to help me during my first 18 months as Chairman of the club. His honesty and passion for the club knows no bounds and I’ll personally be sad not to see him on matchdays in the shop but I know in my heart that he’s a loyal fan and supports the club through thick and thin” said Druids Chairman Des Williams.
“There have been some significant changes in my life over the last year or so, particularly with the passing of Julie, and as I’m not getting any younger I feel I can no longer commit myself to the responsibility of managing the club shop as it should be managed going forward” said Tom.
“I wish to place on record my deepest thanks to everyone who has supported my efforts over the last 14 years and particularly over the past 15 months. I will never be able to thank the club enough for the kindness and compassion shown to me by players, coaches, directors and everyone at the club when Julie passed away and I will forever be grateful” added Tom.
We would like to thank Tom for everything he’s done for the club and wish him all the very best for the future. We know he will be down supporting the lads as a fan and will always be welcome at The Rock.
Thanks for everything Tom.
More than just a football club.
