The Academy Opens Café For Parents

Cefn Druids Academy are delighted to officially announce that we have new opening times for the cabin and a new name for it too.
Headed by Louise Faulkner, mum to a Druids academy player, the “Penalty Box” will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays during training sessions and for academy home games for the rest of the season.
Parents will be able to enjoy teas and coffees as well as snacks and homemade cakes. There’s a plan to expand into hot food and snacks, depending on demand, and providing academy match day food for all home and visiting fans and the players too!
“The academy is in need of fundraising, and we have always had the idea to have the parents enjoy teas and coffee but never the staff to operate it, but we do now. All profits will be ploughed back into the academy and Louise stepping forward as a volunteer is deeply appreciated” said Druids Chairman Des Williams.
