Stadium Announcer Ian Reece
It is with deep sadness that we announce long term Druids stadium announcer, Ian Reece has passed away.
Ian had been with us at Druids as stadium announcer for over 5 years and was always a hugely appreciated and loved member of the club. He sadly passed away in the early hours of yesterday morning after a battle with cancer.
A brilliant, caring person who also did valuable work with the North East Wales Football Association and Welsh Football in general. We remember him at Druids for his impeccable pre-match tunes to brighten up the occasion as well as his wonderful work on the mic. But above all else, a thoughtful, caring person with a heart of gold.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends at this sad time. We send our deepest sympathies from everyone at Druids.
