Ross Weaver Signs for Druids!
Two signings in two days as midfielder Ross Weaver also signs for Druids for the 2022/23 season!
Another big announcement from the club and from manager Neil Ashton as experienced Welsh midfielder Ross Weaver pens a deal with Druids. With ex Flint Town midfielder Ben Maher signing yesterday, Weaver has followed suit, as manager Ashton bolsters his midfield for the coming season.
Along with Flint Town, Ross has spent time at Wrexham, Prestatyn, Denbigh and Holywell throughout his career and has plenty of experience of Welsh football. He spoke with us about the move and the direction the club is going,
“I’ve come to Druids to help get them back to the Premier League, that’s the aim and reason I’m here.”
Another great addition to the squad as we edge closer to our opening fixture of the season at home to Prestatyn Town on the 29th July. Ross brings a wealth of experience to the side and can operate anywhere in a middle three. We are thrilled he has decided to join us and look forward to seeing him in action soon!
