Phil Mooney Re-Signs for Next Season!
Druids are thrilled to announce that centre half Phil Mooney has agreed to stay on at the club for the 2022/23 season.
Following the news of club captain Michael Jones re-signing with the club, Phil Mooney has followed suit and agreed to stay on for the 2022/23 season. Phil has been a towering figure at the back for Druids for three seasons now. It’s great news to have him stay with us as we embark on our campaign in the JD Cymru North under new manager Neil Ashton.
Phil spoke to us about the move,
“I’m really happy to be staying on at Druids for another season. It’s been tough for the club in recent years but I’m looking forward to working with Ashy and the new squad to get us back to where we belong.”
Ashton, the coaching staff and chairman have been working hard behind the scenes to build a new squad for the coming season. Keep an eye on our social media pages for more announcements!
