Neil Ashton Awarded JD Cymru North Manager of the Month
A brilliant achievement by Ashy in his first season as Druids manager. He led us on a run of impressive performances and results throughout November, earning the award.
The official statement from the league read,
“Cefn Druids have found their feet in the JD Cymru North after a rocky start to the season and Neil Ashton guided his team to seven points from a possible nine in November. They beat Porthmadog and Mold Alexandra and now sit fourth in the standings.”
Ashy spoke to us about the news,
“Thanks to the players, staff and chairman. Without their hard work and effort, awards like this are not possible. It’s as much for me as it is for them.”
A great achievement as Ashy has got the lads playing some great football. None better than our resounding 6-1 win over Chirk AAA on Wednesday night. Our next fixture is on Friday night at home to Porthmadog FC.
