We are thrilled to announce that former Druid Tom Reilly has returned to the club for the 2022/23 season.
Not a very well-kept secret, but great news to have Tom back with us for the season. Our fans and followers will already know of his return as he scored two goals for us during Tuesday night’s win over Ruthin Town.
From Liverpool, Tom began his career at Accrington Stanley before a stint in Sweden with Eskilstuna City FK and Prestatyn Town back in Wales. His first season at Druids was back in 2019/2020 when current manager Neil Ashton was captain of the team.
A versatile, hardworking midfielder with an eye for goal. Tom made the perfect start to his Druids return with two finely taken goals on Tuesday night including a last-minute winner from 25 yards out.
The Druids coaching staff and chairman Des Williams were very keen to get Tom back home to The Rock, and we are thrilled to have him.
We have a few more signings to announce as international clearances come through but would like to wish Tom a big welcome back!
More than just a football club.
