After two consecutive away games, Druids return to The Rock tomorrow night to take on high flying Newtown AFC.
The Robins have enjoyed a solid start to the season so far, sitting in 3rd position on 19 points. However, they have lost their last two matches, getting knocked out of the Welsh Cup by Bala and a league loss away at Haverfordwest last Saturday. Newtown will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to The Rock tomorrow night.
Druids are coming off a tough away loss at Connah’s Quay last Friday where our opponents showed their quality and were clinical in front of goal. Druids however did break the Nomads down and create solid chances of our own but were just unable to provide the final finish. Something we will be looking to do tomorrow night.
The lads have worked hard in training this week and are looking forward to returning to The Rock with the home support behind us. With Wrexham AFC playing away on Saturday, anyone wanting their football fix, why not come down to The Rock for some food, drink and local football!
It is looking to be a great occasion under the lights tomorrow night and we look forward to seeing you all there. The lads are sticking together and are confident we can get some points on the board and close the gap on the bottom 6!
Come on you Druids!
More than just a football club.
