Match Preview: Druids vs Haverfordwest County AFC
With four more games to go of the season, Druids are back at The Rock tomorrow afternoon to face Haverfordwest County AFC.
It is extremely tight at the bottom half of the Playoff conference, with Haverfordwest, Aber, Connah’s Quay and Barry Town all fighting to avoid the drop. The Bluebirds come to The Rock tomorrow disappointed, after a 1-0 home loss to Aber on Tuesday night and will be wanting a vital 3 points.
Druids put on another hardworking performance on Tuesday against The Nomads. A youthful squad, with a number of our EDS players were solid throughout, but the quality and ruthlessness of The Nomads on the night was enough to get them the win.
With four games to go for Druids, it is about finishing the season with the right attitude before we reset and rebuild for the next. The lads have been excellent in recent weeks with a number of academy graduates stepping up for their Cymru Premier debuts.
The weather is looking good tomorrow at The Rock and we would love as many of you there as possible to enjoy some local football and support the lads. Again it will be a competitive match as The Bluebirds will be desperate to avoid the drop, while Druids will be looking for another positive performance. After our first win of the season at home to Cardiff Met two weeks ago, there’s no reason why we can’t get another tomorrow and finish the season on a high.
Come on you Druids!
