Match Preview: Cefn Druids vs Haverfordwest County AFC

We close out Phase 1 with a big clash at The Rock tomorrow afternoon. 11th and 12th go head to head as Druids look to add some more points on the board before Phase 2 begins.

Haverfordwest come into this game after a tight 0-0 home draw to Aberystwyth Town two weeks ago. The Bluebirds were unfortunate not to get their 5th win of the season after coming close to a winner multiple times and having a penalty saved. They would fancy themselves as favourites travelling to The Rock tomorrow and will hope to be more clinical in front of goal.

It is a meeting between 11th and 12th and Druids will know this is a big opportunity to get some more points on the board as we head into Phase 2. Our last competitive fixture was a home defeat to league leaders TNS two weeks ago. However, the lads are well rested and have been working hard in training this week to put on a good performance for our fans.

The last time we faced Haverfordwest at The Rock was back in April last year. A thrilling affair that ended with Druids running out 2-1 winners. Midfielder Charley Edge scored a 90th minute winner for us that day and hopefully we get a similar result tomorrow.

A reminder to anyone looking to come to the match tomorrow, there is a special Druids Discount of only £1 entry at the gate. We are hoping to raise more support for the lads in a big match, to finish off Phase 1 on a high.

It is looking to be a great occasion tomorrow with an earlier kick-off time of 12:45pm. We hope to see as many of you as possible at The Rock to cheer on the lads and enjoy some Cymru Premier League football.

Come on you Druids!
