A midweek fixture for Druids tonight as we welcome Flint Town to The Rock for a 7:45pm kickoff.
Having played only 4 days ago against Newtown, Druids return to The Rock tonight for another difficult task, as we take on 2nd place Flint Town. After a disappointing performance and result on Friday, it will be a chance for a reaction from Druids. The lads are ready for the battle and eager to make it a difficult evening for The Silkmen.
Our opponents come into this game off the back of an impressive 3-1 home win against Penybont on Saturday. Their two forwards of Mike Wilde and Jack Kenny are both on a good run of goalscoring form, and the Druids defence will have to be ready to prevent them getting opportunities in front of goal tonight.
We last played Flint Town on Matchday 2 of the season at The Essity Stadium. Quite a tight, competitive game for the opening period until a red card to Druid’s defender Phil Mooney. The Silkmen took advantage of the extra man that day, winning 4-0. We will be looking to rectify that result tonight and get some much-needed points on the board.
We look forward to welcoming you all for some midweek football under the lights at The Rock. The lads appreciate your support and are eager to get out there and perform.
Come on you Druids!
