Match Preview: Cardiff Met v Druids

Tomorrow afternoon, Druids return to league action and make the long trip south to take on Cardiff Met in another big match!

The Students come into this game off an impressive 3-0 home win in the Welsh Cup last Saturday against Barry Town, with Ex AFC Wimbledon and TNS forward Adam Roscrow bagging a brace. There should be a solid test for our backline tomorrow to keep the Met forwards under control.

Cardiff Met currently sit in 7th position, however their last league fixture resulted in a 2-0 defeat away at Caernarfon Town. They will be wanting to get back on track in the league tomorrow while Druids will be eager to put on a positive performance and get some points on the board.

Our previous meetings with The Students resulted in two draws and a defeat at the Cyncoed Campus in Phase 2 of last season. Tomorrow’s match will be interim manager Andy Turner’s first league game in charge. There were positive signs throughout the second half last Saturday in our Welsh Cup tie, that we will be looking to take into tomorrow’s match and push on from.

It is looking to be a great occasion that the coaching staff and players are eager for. Follow along our Twitter page for match updates.

Come on you Druids!
