Last Weekend’s Academy Man of the Matches

We had another great weekend of fixtures for our academy sides from our U9s up to our U19s. Congratulations to all the players for their efforts, doing the club proud. We again had some stand-out performances we would like to mention!

U9s MOM: Alfie Lynch. He had a fantastic performance with and without the ball. Goals and assists to go with it.

U9s MOM: Logan Williams. Another great performance, Logan was solid defensively and drove forward well in possession with two assists.

U10s MOM: Kameron Jones. Kameron worked up and down the pitch endlessly throughout the game, also getting his reward for doing so!

U11s MOM: Sonny Roberts. Sonny did really well, made some great tackles, got around the pitch well and played some great football when in possession.

U12s MOM: Evan Roberts, who absolutely bossed the game. Another great team performance and result.

U13s MOM: Kacper Bury. He was a game changer in the second half and created 3 or 4 good goal scoring opportunities that were excellently saved by the Bala keeper. The right attitude and application in training is now appearing in his game.

U14s MOM: Rhys Underhill. Rhys defended brilliantly as right back against their biggest threat. He made 2 or 3 last ditch tackles and used the ball well when in possession.

U15s MOM: Ashton Valentine. A fantastic defensive performance and when he had the ball at his feet also made the right decisions. On top of this, he also got a clean sheet to top of a great game.

U16s MOM: Kieran Marks. Offensively he was very dangerous with his delivery and support play. Defensively he didn’t get beat 1v1 and defended his box well.

U19s MOM: Vinnie Cooke. In defensive transition he was fantastic. Won every header and made good decisions on the ball.

Congratulations to all the Man of the Matches over the weekend. Some great individual and team performances for the club which was great to see. We look forward to getting back out there again next weekend!

More than just a football club.
