Druids winger Joe Faux has joined Caernarfon Town on loan until the end of the season.
The Australian, now in his third season at Druids, previously played under the now Caernarfon Town Manager Huw Griffiths throughout the 2019/20 season.
One of the longest serving members of the current squad, we wish Joe all the best as he departs this January.
“Joe has been magnificent whilst he’s been at the club and a model professional. Andy Turner has come in and changed the way we play and it doesn’t lend itself to Joe’s all action style and so when Huw Griffiths made the enquiry, I couldn’t think of a better place for Joe to get valuable experience, on loan, with a good manager,” said Druids Chairman Des Williams.
Faux spoke on the move,
“It was obviously tough to part from Druids this January. I’m in my third season now and had an amazing time at the club, but when the option came to join Caernarfon, I thought it was a great opportunity and one I’ve decided to pursue. I’d like to wish everyone at Druids all the best for the remainder of the season.”
Joe will stay on in his off-field role as a marketing manager at Druids. He will also be ineligible to play against Druids as his parent club during the loan and therefore will not be involved in our match against Caernarfon Town this Friday night.
We wish him all the best.
More than just a football club.
