Exciting duo Dida Eridion and Juan Torres sign for Druids

Druids are thrilled to announce the signings of central midfielder Dida and versatile defender Juan from Bangor City FC.

The duo will add much some needed depth to the squad and bring a wealth of quality and experience as well.

Dida, originally from Albania, move to Italy at a young age where he began his footballing career. After growing and developing his skills in Italy, he eventually got the opportunity to move to the UK to play for Bangor City FC for two years and has now put pen to paper with Druids! A strong, solid central midfielder, Dida has quickly impressed since coming in to train with the team. Confident on the ball and aggressive off it to win it back, Dida will be a welcome addition to the squad.

He spoke to us about the move,

“I trained for a week with Druids and immediately felt the confidence of my teammates and manager, which is very important to me. My goal is to come in and play as many games as possible and improve our performances from now until the end of the season. I’m really looking forward to getting started!”

Juan Torres, nicknamed ‘Nacho’ was born in Montevideo, Uruguay with a Spanish background. Beginning his career in Uruguay, Nacho has played in Chile, The United States and Italy before joining Dida at Bangor City for the past few seasons. An experienced, physical defender, Nacho can play anywhere along the backline and will be play a key role in bolstering our defence.

“My main aim is just to gain as many points as possible for the team until the end of the season and put on some good performances for our fans,” said Nacho.

We hope to have them both available for Tuesday night’s trip to TNS, pending their registrations. The club is delighted to have them both on board to help the team move in the right direction. More signings will be announced this week, but we would like to wish a big welcome to Dida and Nacho!

More than just a football club.
