The Elite Development Squad (EDS) comprises of two teams with players being streamed towards first team football.
The U21 team play in the Reserve League and comprises of 3rd year scholars, players within the first team training environment and first team players returning from injury or seeking match fitness. It is also the team where the main focus is on player development.
Players we feel that need additional training, away from the welsh system, are then loaned to our partners in Spain for three months.
Our U19s comprises of 1st and 2nd year scholars and players from lower age groups that have the ability to “play up” in a different age group. Playing in the professional Development League, the team aims to be the starting point for players who want to play at the highest levels of the game in the UK.
