Druids have confidence in Jayson Starkey

Druids Chairman, Des Williams has made the following statement:
“Last season, Jayson made it clear that he wanted to change the playing style and philosophy of the team. The club wants to make it clear that Jayson Starkey continues to have our full support.
After Bruno’s departure, Jayson made it very clear that he was the man for the job and wanted to have the chance to lead us up the table. We agreed a points target to turn this season around and he has the biggest squad and budget the club has ever had just to make sure he achieves the target.
Following the 5-0 defeat to Flint and the 3-0 defeat by Aberystwyth on Tuesday, the board met and discussed the situation. We’ve decided to give Jayson more time to turn things around. As Jayson has said himself, results have not been good enough and the team’s performances must improve.
