Druids Announce New Partnership with ‘Achieve More’
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with ‘Achieve More Training’ to provide more opportunities for members of the club and wider community.
Achieve More are an education provider that offer a variety of courses and qualifications such as education training, leisure and fitness and sport sector training. One of their centres is based in North Wales and have partnered with Druids.
We are delighted with the new deal, which will see Achieve More teach their courses at The Rock, which will be open to Druids players, coaches and parents that wish to gain valuable new skills and qualifications. Achieve More are also running the same courses in Wrexham for the wider community and we encourage anyone interested to get in touch with them!
The initial courses (which are fully funded for Welsh residents) that Achieve More will run at the club are:
- Level 2 Activity Leadership – 6 Days
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor – 8 Days
- Level 3 Personal Training – 12 Days
Also for qualified coaches looking to become tutors/assessors:
- Level 3 Learning and Development – Full Funded
- First Aid qualification
- Safeguarding qualification
We are looking forward to starting a great new initiative with Achieve More and putting our resources together. Participants of Achieve More’s courses will have full access to our coaches, facilities and EDS team to aid in their learning.
Druids Chairman Des Williams spoke to us about the partnership, “I’m over the moon to be working with Achieve More and this new initiative shows our commitment to developing not only footballers but those that want to be in other specialities within the game.”
Achieve More’s Partnership Manager Laura Ellis was equally happy with the news, “I am very excited to launch this unique partnership with Cefn Druids to provide quality education provision and support for their 16+yrs footballers and coaches. This is a new project for Achieve More Training and having the opportunity to develop expertise, increase qualifications and open doors for career options beyond football for those involved at the club is fantastic.“
