Druids Agree New Link With Liverpool John Moores University
More great news for the club as we form a new link with Liverpool John Moores University to give our players and coaches more opportunities, while improving our playing squads.
The new link began after several coaching reports had seen a lot of talent in the University football team that had yet to be unearthed by a higher league club. The new link will aim to give these players a chance with hopes to improve our playing squads. Druids are working hard to continue our fine form and push up the league, with the ultimate goal of returning to the Cymru Premier.
The link will also see our Druids coaches grow and gain experience in a wider field by putting on coaching clinics, sessions and presentations at the University. Up-and-coming coaches at John Moores will also gain valuable experience as they can now come down and work at Druids.
The new partnership has already shown great promise as we’ve identified 3 talented players from the Uni that have begun training with the first team to hopefully strengthen our squad in the January window.
We are delighted to join forces with Liverpool John Moores. Along with our partnership with ASJ Academy in Spain, this new deal shows the ambition of the club when it comes to thinking outside the box in terms of player recruitment. These new exciting opportunities for players and coaches at Druids will help us continue to grow as a club and get us back to where we want to be.
