Club Statement

After speculation and rumours surrounding the club’s accounts and status, we have felt the need to respond and correct these allegations.

Towards the end of January the club received a striking-off order after being told our financial accounts had not been submitted at the appropriate time. Of course, rumours and comments quickly spread when such news is released.

The FAW insisted we change our auditor and this caused a delay in getting them submitted to Companies House. We have been in constant communication with the new auditor and when were notified of the actions against the club, we were swiftly in communication with the Registrar of Companies, the accounts and paperwork had that had already been prepared were submitted appropriately. We received word back and the striking-off action has now been discontinued as the club are in fine financial footing.

The club does not have any financial issues with HMRC or any financial institution and passed any rumours suggesting otherwise are false.

We look forward to supporting our first team and academy as we head towards the final few months of the season.

More than just a football club.
