Chris Cathrall stays on as U19s assistant manager

Great news from our academy as Chris Cathrall has decided to stay on as U19s assistant manager after an excellent job last season.

Chris came into the assistant role towards the end of last season to help Jordan Hadaway out on the pitch and in the development of the players. The club is thrilled to have him decide to stay on next season. He did an excellent job in the role after being thrust into the new environment.

Head of Elite Phase and U19s manager Jordan Hadaway spoke on the news,

“I am very pleased to secure Chris as my number 2 next season. We have a very close relationship and he is someone that offers different values to the coaching team, which is so important.”

We also spoke to Chris about the role and his thoughts for next season,

“Having come in towards the end of last season to help Jordan out, it was an easy decision when asked to take up the assistant role to continue working alongside him. There are a great set of lads at the club and I am looking forward to working with them to continue their development.”

We are looking forward for another huge season for our academy as we introduce our new full time model. Chris will be another great addition to help the players reach their full potential!
