Academy Star Harry Fuller Promoted to the First Team

Great news coming out of the club as exciting academy youngster Harry Fuller has been promoted to the Druids first-team squad and given a two year scholarship deal. The young right winger has put in the hard work needed to reach the next level of development and has shown the desire to compete with the more established players for a role in the team. More importantly, he’s done enough to impress Druids Head Coach Bruno Lopes who had asked for the move.
Harry started with Jamie Reed’s U19 squad but quickly showed his ability and was given the chance to start training with the first team and then made an appearance against Wrexham AFC in a preseason friendly. Harry is technically a very gifted player and more time with the first team and senior players will undoubtedly improve his understanding of the game and his overall ability.
The welsh winger is rated as one of the biggest talents at the Druids Academy.
“Harry is a hardworking young man that has grown in confidence and ability over the past few months and so this is the reward for that effort” said Druids Chairman Des Williams.
The move also signals the Druids desire to promote from within and give the young players in the academy the chance of playing at a higher level and Bruno Lopes’s willingness to put his faith in youth.
Everyone at the club is proud of Harry and his efforts on the pitch and can’t wait to see his progression as a player in the coming years!
