Druids Academy Fees and Registration

Dear Parent,

We are pleased to announce that we have secured a playing kit deal with Macron for the forthcoming season.

You can now order and pay for all the playing and training kit online as packs and have it delivered directly to you.

To ensure that you get the right size, we will be holding sizing days next week for academy players and it will be vitally important for you to attend so that when you order your kit, it will be correct when delivered. Macron will not supply individual items and so any extra items required can be purchased through the clubs website, with the same lead times.

We are confident that the supply issues we experienced previously are now resolved and look forward to working with Macron.

The new mandate from UEFA, regarding one player one club, has now taken effect and we now must put into place the guidelines set out by the FAW and UEFA.

It’s our position that all players shouldn’t lose the contact needed to develop and parents shouldn’t be asked to fund additional training sessions, making for lost time at grassroots teams. We have secured private funding for the academy for the 2022/23 season and so we are able to, once again, pass on savings to parents and players.

The fees for all players for 2022/23 season will be £300 per player from U8 through to the Elite Development Squad, payable in two instalments, £200 August 1st 2022 and £100 December 1st 2022.

Any players released prior to December 1st 2022 will not need to pay the final instalment. Players choosing to transfer after that date will still be liable for the balance.

Playing and training packs can be purchased online, Foundation packs are £150 and Youth/EDS packs are £180 per player. Click HERE to access the Macron shop,

Players under the age of 12 may dual register with the academy and a grassroots club for the 2022/23 season. Players aged 12 and over cannot dual register. Our position, as a Board of Directors, is that players need every opportunity to develop and train and we will do what we can to assist players/parents to achieve this.
